APRA
The Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA)
represents over 1,900 development professionals around the world who
are dedicated to meeting the data and information needs of the
nonprofit community.
PRSPCT-L
(pronounced "prospect el") is an electronic mail list
provided as a forum for discussion of prospect research issues for
over 3,000 prospect research professionals around the globe.
Non-Profit
Salaries provided by Economic Research Institute. Search for a
non-profit and click on "Comp Tables" once you reach the
summary page. You can also pull up Form 990s.

Brian Dowling, controller for the Division of University Advancement
at the University of Toronto, has built a unique site collecting
"just about everything online worth linking to in the areas of
fundraising, donor relations, alumni relations and advancement".

GuideStar:
GuideStar's site has a searchable database of thousands of private
foundation records, including scanned IRS form 990s. GuideStar's
mission is to help improve the effectiveness of the nonprofit
sector through the collection and presentation of comprehensive
information about nonprofit organizations.
CEO
Wealth Meter A page developed by the folks at C|Net, which
gives daily updates regarding the wealth of CEOs of publicly
traded companies based on current stock price, compensation data,
etc.
The Planned Giving Group of
New England (PGGNE) is an association of charitable gift
planning professionals representing the New England states of
Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island
and Vermont. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the education
and professional development of members in all aspects of planned
giving.
Council for Advancement and
Support of Education (CASE) is an international association
of education advancement officers, who include alumni administrators,
fund raisers, public relations managers, publications editors,
and government relations officers. The ultimate goal of advancement
professionals is to enhance their institutions by bringing in
support--be it in the form of money, alumni loyalty, public esteem,
or new students. In turn, CASE's purpose is to help these people
advance the cause of education. It does this by offering information
resources and training opportunities to aid members.
