NEDRA’s 3-5 Learning Network

Geared to juniors in prospect development (generally those who have worked ~3-5 years in the field), these communal-based set of sessions will allow participants to learn both from esteemed Advisors and fellow cohort members. The 90-minute virtual sessions will begin with either a panel discussion or presentation from Advisor(s), which will last ~45 minutes. The remaining 45 minutes will be spent in open networking and discussion among the members, the Advisor(s) for that session, and the three Program Guides. There will also be shorter Zoom sessions for networking with fellow cohort members, which will be optional but are highly encouraged.

Note: The 3-5 Learning Network will be limited to 15 participants, who are committed to attending all virtual sessions and being camera-ready for active participation. Decisions will be made and shared with applicants in August.

Session #2: Career Paths Panel

The panel will focus on career paths in prospect development. We’re bringing together a group of panelists from a variety of institutions and backgrounds to share their career journeys.

Advisors: Renana Kehoe (moderator), Suzy Campos, Nhu Huynh, Emily Loffredo

Session #3: Due Diligence Panel

This panel will focus on due diligence in the prospect development field—a topic we know many junior- to mid-level professionals want to learn more about. We’re bringing together a group of panelists with a range of perspectives and institutional experiences.

Advisors: Stephanie Snow (moderator), Shauna Meegan, Krista Pierce, Dana Hubbard

Session #4:  Prospect Management Panel

This panel will focus on prospect management with the goal to have attendees better understand prospect management strategies, structures, and challenges through real-world insights from professionals currently doing this work.

Advisor: Nicole Fonsh (moderator), Chelsea Hathaway, Christine Freiburger, Tory Pedonti, Ruthie Giles

Session #5:  Data Analytics Session

This session will be a “show and tell”–style event focusing on data analytics in prospect development. Instead of a traditional panel, our Advisors will share real examples—dashboards, reports, tools, or processes—that have made a difference in their work.

Advisors: Robby West, Jamie Lewis, Nathan Johnson

Session #6:  Leadership and Engagement Panel

The final panel will explore leadership, engagement, and growth—whether that means preparing for career advancement or finding meaningful ways to contribute and lead from wherever you are. We’re bringing together panelists at different stages of their careers—including those in upper management and those who’ve chosen to deepen their expertise within individual contributor roles—to offer a range of perspectives on what leadership and career progression can look like in our field.

Advisors: Jackie Arko (moderator), Kristen Watson, Brian Crockett, Jenn Grasso

After the sessions wrap up in April, there will be an optional in-person gathering at the NEDRA Conference in the spring of 2026 in Providence, RI.
