The Data Warehouse Think Tank welcomes anyone who would like to learn about how a data warehouse can help elevate reporting at your institution. There will be a brief overview of the data warehouse concept before we turn to sharing best practices with one another. Come prepared to share what's worked at your institutions and with questions for your colleagues. This will be a collaborative session!
Deb Chaulk is the Associate Vice President for Advancement Operations at Williams College and has held that position since November 2018. Her experience in Advancement Operations spans multiple decades. Prior to arriving at Williams, she was the Director of Advancement Technology Services at the Smithsonian Institution helping to move 19 museums, 9 cultural centers, and the National Zoo into one fundraising database. She was also the Director of Donor Relations at Macalester College and Carleton College. She began her career in the software industry, working at for a banking software company (6 years) and then BSR (13 years) which eventually became Ellucian. She serves on the boards of the Berkshire Food Project and Negative Space, a MN-based non-profit serving the needs of caregivers. She is a graduate of The University of Virginia and Boston University.
Nicole Sibley is the Director of Advancement Reporting & Systems at Amherst College, where she leads a team of six programmers / analysts and heads up the current Advancement database and reporting conversion. She has a Master’s Degree in Information Science & Technology from Simmons College’s School of Library & Information Science, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has15 years of experience, and prior to Amherst, worked at Smith College.
