PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

More and more of us are being asked to accept cryptocurrency for charitable gifts, but this currency isn’t really currency. Join Marianne Pelletier, longtime crypto investor and miner, for an overview of what cryptocurrency is, how to measure its value, and how to accept gifts of cryptocurrency. A bonus section on using crypto faucets to get your own without spending money will be included to help you practice with this new asset.

PRESENTER:

Marianne Pelletier has been in the prospect research community since 1988, when she first joined NEDRA. She is now a full-time analytics consultant with Staupell, LLC, an all-about-data firm. Marianne’s career includes annual giving, software consulting, prospect research, and prospect development and data science. She is a graduate of Rockford University and of Southern New Hampshire University.
