Regional Interest Networking Group (RING): Large Research Shops

3:00 pm - 4:30 pm


Barbara Moore, Director of Development Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Sarah Fernandez, Director of Prospect Research and Management at MIT, will facilitate a roundtable discussion for professionals at large* research shops. Among the topics likely to be discussed are:


  • new/most useful resources
  • staff recruitment, retention, and development 
  • team organizational structure 
  • introduction and integration of data analytics
  • the role of research during a campaign 
  • prospect management activity
  • your suggestions

Come to this session armed with your curiosity about the successful strategies behind larger research operations and your willingness to share how you are addressing your biggest challenges. This RING is a great opportunity to learn about best practices and to build a peer network.

 
*Attendees should meet at least one of the following criteria: part of a research team of 5 or more or part of a development staff of 50 or more
